I can only compare the Gripad with Schiek Sports Schiek Lifting Strap Dowel 1000 and Newgrip Weight Lifting Gloves which I tried them on PULL UPS ONLY. Between ALL of these the Gripad is the best, -at least for me. I do a lot of pull ups and these have a BETTER GRIP than the others, EASIER to put them on and off, and 2-3 times LESS expensive. Highly recommended.

I hope this email finds you in good health.
I wanted to say thank you for a great product. One year ago I unfortunately was involved in a serious hand accident loosing my index finger and seriously damaging the other three fingers and still not able to bend my middle finger.....There is more to the story and I do not want to bore you.
I am a personal trainer and own a training studio in my home town. At my facility I have climbing ropes and shortly after the accident I set a goal for myself to climb the ropes again within a years time.
I had some further complications and thought that climbing may be out of the question. With much prayer and the use of your product since 12/30/10 (1 year and 3 weeks) after the accident I fulfilled that goal and continue to climb them as much as I can.
Again, Thank You.
Be Well,
Mike

I’m sure most hard core body builders know about these and maybe use them. I’ve got to admit I just bumped into them recently and thought I’d give them a go. Let me just say they have revolutionized my workout.
The problems I had with old gloves (or none), is calluses on the hands, pain in my palms with heavier weights, difficult to remove and put on, uncomfortable, sweaty and smelly gloves after a while. These issues may sound familiar to you.
Now notice the design of these… Simply slide your fingers in, and you can remove them in a second during sets if you don’t need them, with relative ease. Secondly, your hand breathes! Minimal sweating , it’s lovely and airy. And best of all is the comfort when you’re benching (as an example), your palms are fully cushioned with the really thick pads.
Extract from official site:
“Made of neoprene, GRIPAD®s provide a firm and comfortable grip that prevent calluses and blisters while preventing heat, sweat, and odor associated with the regular workout gloves. The unique pads are secured to the palm of the hand with finger loops that stretch to fit most.”
Pros:
- Affordable
- Comfortable with heavy weights
- Prevents calluses and blisters
- Airy and minimizes hand dampness
- Not bulky and very comfortable
- No odour
- No colour staining
- One size fits all
Cons:
- Honestly I can’t fault this product. Durability is yet to be tested. Seems to be surviving the beatings thrown at it so far. Will update this post if there are any disappointments.
